TRAVEL
Travel is an adventure, a chance to experience new locations, different histories and other cultures. I believe travel is good for the soul. It broadens my photographic and personal perspectives, and gives me a chance to see other parts of this country, or the world, with a fresh eye. Everything is new and exciting when I visit someplace the first time. The sun rises and sets differently, colors change in tone and vividness, and the light bathes the landscape, city or country, and sky differently. And the people…what can I say? They may be subtly different from those at home, or they may be altogether different. Wherever I go, I learn something new, and I see life differently. Whether I go occasionally, or often, the important thing for me is to go!
