Venice is a magnificent wonderland of light and beauty.
I have visited her many times, and each time, I discover more of her secrets by getting lost along her canals, or in her streets and alleyways. Her siren's song beckons me to return over and over..."Take what you will."
I am consumed with reflections in her canals, kaleidoscopic colors mirrored in her shop windows, her bustling Piazza San Marco where the pigeons play, sunsets over the lagoon or along the Grand Canal, and the exquisite festival, Carnevale di Venezia.
For me though, it can never be enough. I empathize with the prisoners who were prodded across "The Bridge of Sighs" never to see her again. She is irresistible, day or night, summer or winter...always. She is my photographic paramour.
