BROOKLYN, FIRST SNOW 2017

Each year, the first snow in New York signals the arrival of winter.  Residents welcome this event because the first snow is always the cleanest and most attractive of winter.  Subsequent snows end up plowed to street sides and filled with salt, mud and other debris.  We were visiting family in Brooklyn and experienced the first winter snow this year.  Here are some of my favorite images shot in and around Monsignor McGolrick Park in Greenpoint, Brooklyn early the morning of December 10.
